Wonderful and thanks for the info!
I'm planning to begin TC growing soon BUT.... do you think a "glovebox" would produce a sterile enough atmosphere? I can't afford a laminar flow cabinet....
Thanks

Just a few pics of my latest lot of plants. first photo is Rafflesiana seed, three weeks to germinate next photo seedlings have been moved to 25mm tubes to grow a bit bigger plants moved to media with BAP/NAA for shoot multiplication once plant has grown in size and shoot numbers I move it to a larger container with plain media (No PGR) for a month or so Plant has been divided up and placed on media with NAA for root formation plants removed from TC and hardened off plants outside and growing fast

Hi guys I was reading this whole thread which is really amazing and wondered only 1 thing that was not mentioned, how much illumination and of which type do you give to the plants?

I grow my plants under two 18 watt cool white fluorescent tubes 18 hours on 6 hours off. seeds are under one 18 watt light until they start to shoot then i move them to the 2 x 18 watt set up. lights are about 15cm above plants

I have just started adding Thidiazuron (TDZ) to my media for callus formation in nepenthes. I have been using BAP from the start and had some good results but nothing consistent. on reliable information i have changed my media for callus formation adding TDZ to it. I will add up dates on how things go.
(Thanks Frank)

I'm also advancing, with a tiny budget I've got the shelf to have the flasks on and some lab equipment like the tweezers, next in the agenda, make the light fixture and the "laminar flow desk".

I will move it to shoot multiplication media in a few days. adding TDZ to the media worked better than I had hoped, looks like I will be using TDZ from now on.
