I'm looking for a simple way of getting them to germinate. What are the variety of approaches that won't set off the alarm or bring the fire department?

Jim,
I've had great success using gibberilic acid. 1 gram per liter of RO water and a 24 hr soak.
Happy Growing,
Brian.

Some people roll them in cigarette paper, others put them in a pipe -- but the buds are said to be superior. Oh, on second thought, that must a different plant. Although, if you really want to smoke Roridula, let us know how it worked. Sorry ...

I received two seeds a few weeks ago and now, finally did something with the, Outside, at a nearby apartment, I saw a smoldering campfire. I placed the seeds in a fishnet and hung the net near the smoke, downwind, for about 15 minutes. Then I placed one seed in the mini-greenhouse, in a pot of sown D. indica seeds, covered. The other went to the porch, outside, on a large pot with mostly sand. with any luck...
Just how long are ya supposed to keep them in the smoke?
