As a member of ICPS and other CP forums, I am suprised (not pleasantly so) that there's not more action in the forums. I would think that as a global organization, we would have a great deal more trafic here - especially from some of the biggest experts in the field - however that doesn't seem to be the case.
Why is it that things are so quiet around here?

Hi Brokken,
I blame it on the arrival of Spring and lots of busy hands in greenhouses and yards across the world. ;D
Combine with the worldwide recession, shake briskly and serve.
Me thinks folks have a lot more on their mind at present. It'll pick up.....hopefully!
Happy Growing,
Brian.

Brian,
I can understand people being busy and preoccupied to post about their CPs, but I see the same people leaving posts in other boards. What makes ICPS - which should be the premiere posting board endorsed by the largest world-wide organization for the conservation and propagation of carnivorous plants - such a forlorn resource.
Just a thought.

Well, I cannot seem to use Proboards. The pages just keep reloading and relaoding in an endless loop. I checked on how to fix this, but there doesn't seem to be any answers...

Dave, I have the same problem with the ICPS Forum reloading and such. Sounds like the IE8 blues... I usually just hit the "stop loading" (red X) once the page first loads completely and it seems to work. FredG and others have reported the same, glitchy MS crap. I've been nothing but appalled at Windows Vista ever since I purchased it! Brokken, My FCPS Forum and Aidan's Forum has been just as slow as this one lately, although TerraForums seems to remain quite busy... I contribute that to alot of CP newbies and beginner questions on TerraForums. Happy Growing, Brian.
