This year we are offering "sectional" listing and bidding. And we have one Canadian gentleman who is offering material (and encouraging others to do the same) to Canadians only. As long as all local rules for inter-province tranfer of material is adhered to, we are fine with with. This might be a good opportunity for the Canadians to spread some material around and donate to an organization that supports high-northern S. purpurea.
I think it is a fun idea and a way to get people to participate that can't with the U.S. lister/bidders.
So...go scope it out. :-)

Update, and 1st post! I think it is I you are refering to, and this year I shall be donating another couple plants (which will remain a secret until then ) for the benefit of the auction, so if there are any other canadians, JOIN THE PARTY! It's for a great cause Last year I gave away a Heliamphora Minor, a Sarracenia x Wriggliana, some vft's and a copy of a little book I wrote called 'the three little pings'(actually, it was you PAK who won it!)... As for the comment about interprovincial trade, so long as it stay above the border, there are no restrictions to my knowledge and from a supplier I bought from in BC (Jack of HawaiianBotanicals). I've bought a S. Oreo with no issues because it was TC'd plant material that has already been imported. (correct me if I am wrong, it'd be good to know for sure) Happy Growing! And see you at the auctions!
