Hello I took pictures this morning, in a forest near a beach along Atlantic ocean, in French Guiana (between Brazil and Surinam). It could be a "nepenthes", but I'm not sure at all . Do you know it ? Thank you Odile Belrose Javouhey French Guiana.

Sorry, no wild neps in the America's Looks like a type of Aristolochia, you've got a couple of species over there but I am no expert on the area so which one I do not know. The flower attracts insects much like a nepenthes pitcher but only for pollination, they are allowed to leave after the work is done By the way, welcome on board Odile ;D

Yes Marcel you're right . In fact, it is not a carnivorous plant, but it is "Aristolochia trilobata"
