Hey,
So, a long time gone, i bought this little dish from the Wal-Marts. It had a few of those "air plants" in it, the Tillandsia plants, and the center piece was, according to the tag, a bromeliad Ella Vriesea, or perhaps it is a Viresea "Ella." No matter. Point is, I bought it blooming, and the blossom died, and the plant made pups, which, as i understand it, is very normal. I'm wondering, though, if anyone else out there has grown this very generic plant and gotten it to bloom again, by which i mean the pups? Am i going to wait decades here or is the bloom-to-bloom cycle much shorter? Any info at all would be appreciated, the internet is full of care guides for people who plan to toss the plant as soon as it stops looking pretty.
