I was planning to grow one Heli species for my collection and heard that H. Heterodoxa x minor (or minor) is a good one. Does anyone here have warm conditions that this plant tolerates and grow better (Nepenthes Intermediate COnditions)? I also seen in one of these forums that if given live sphagnum was the growing medium then the plant will tolerate warm temperatures. Is this true?

I'm presenty growing a number of Heli's at present in the bathroom on the window sill. Its relatively warm in there, average of 18 - 28c during the day and between 5 - 12c at night. I spray every couple of days to keep the humidity up and they're doing alright. I'm starting to get new growth, the plants are new, oldest being a month but they're dealing with it. Its similar conditions to how I've grown some of them before.
Heterodoxa x Minor is a good choice, as is I believe either of the parents. If they've got the warmth then pure sphagnum is great, it'll grow with the plants. But the main thing is don't let them sit in water! They need drainage and don't take to keeping their roots wet constantly. At least that's what I've found to date

Cool. As long as the plant grows, no matter how slow it is, I'm happy.
