I know cephalotus is well-known for just seeming to enter the doldrums. Has anyone observed this for Heliamphora, and, if so, for how long? I have a couple of plants (H. tatei & H. folliculata) that were growing pretty well, then each put out a somewhat distorted leaf, then stopped growing. I've since put in larger pots & fresh media (having found in the past the roots often grow downward and don't like to be crowded, although this did not seem to be the case for these). The existing leaves are only dying back at the normal rate, so it's been a couple of months, but no new growth at all. I also had H. glabra keep puting out new growth that blackened shortly after first appearing, but it eventually put put a few normal leaves. It also entered the doldrums but then showed a crown split, but now one has died back and the other is of course not growing, but I'm more used to it with this species. Of course they are in the same tank as other Heliamphora that are growing fine (and some that have survived but never done well)...anyway has anyone seen the doldrums effect (for a few months)?-kby
