Aloha Everyone,
wife and I will be taking a 2 week trip starting in Sacramento and ending in Portland. Heading up there via the 101 and planning to visit California Carnivores, see the red woods, CPs in their natural habitats and other fun things. First trip to northern CA. Got a killifish meeting in Oregon but that is another matter.
Any suggestions of places to go see, take photos, be dazzled by the wonders of nature?

flying into Sacramento on the 9th of April. And planning to visit with one of my former students at UC-Davis and Trying to go see the sights around the Davis Campus. Probably all about April 10. Unless neat stuff to see in the Winters/Davis area.
Then drive north along the 101. We don't need to be in Portland until maybe April 16th. Then Fish conference 18-20 and fly home on the 21.
There fore, people to see, places to go things to do that you all can suggest will be greatly apreciated.
