Pinglover and I have been hard at work on our newest project for you all. Some of you may have noticed the For Educators sub board and you'll see it's under construction. We've been cooking up ideas and some of you may have seen us request photo's. Soon we'll have our first two lesson plans available as a PDF. The first lesson plan will be covering invasive species and CP's, the second over flower structure and pollination. These lesson plans are worksheets and are primarily for kids to learn a little about carnivorous plants and where they live, what they are called, etc. These are especially great for parents and teachers.
Watch this space for updates.

It's nothing hard and is great for educating children and the elderly. Say what!!! This makes some assumptions about the intellectual capacity of the elderly that is completely unwarranted.

The BACPS is going to be in the Sprouts (kids) section at the 2008 San Francisco Flower and Garden show in March. There are a few hundred school kids coming in that are going to be coming in for presentations during the week with their teachers. It seems like a good opportunity to get some resources and maybe lesson plants to teachers. How is this project coming along? Any materials yet? Stephen Davis stephenwd@sbcglobal.net

Stephen, you should start a whole new thread for this so it can be stickied for a bit. This needs considerably more than a tailing in an old thread.
There are some things being reviewed. There has been a recent discussion of potential workshops.
