Hi,
Well I take my plants to 3 and 4 day show where the humidity is very low and it does affect the plant a little but I really don't think it will hurt a well grown plant in the long run. I have really only have had only one plant come close to death, and that was because we were loading plants into our VW van and my brother hung a N. bongso on a near by tree normally this would not have been a problem but it was snowing and well below freezing. By the time I saw it a few hours it was not looking so hot but I think it will still come around.

Whoo dude! That's cool. You've got some serious patience to deal with the chilluns It's awesome how you're educating them about these plants at such a young age. Hopefully these will be the conservationists of the future. So did they have a favorite other than the Dionaea?

Yeah they really liked the N. truncata x hamata “N. x Predator” because the pitcher were about a foot tall.

Great work Jeremiah.
I intend to do so as soon as possible. It's important to sow some "conservationist"seeds too.
François.
