I wanted to also ask that I use dried Sphagnum moss as a top dressing for my plants, but it starts to get green with algae. Will this harm my plants? Thanks, Ricky

well....! if u have seedlings...yes! it will kill them. However, if u have large plants...then its fine. However, I would say remove it once it starts as later it will become a HUGGE problem and it looks disgusting.

vraev, Thank you!! No it is my large flytraps and I will remove it when it gets bad!!! I am also concerned about their dormancy, because it has gotten very warm here in Florida!! UGH!! I hope it at least gets colder in Jan/Feb... Well I will see if my flytrap will survive and grow again the next season!! Thanks again, Ricky Haag
