I am not sure where this project is sitting at the moment but would be quite willing to help with the Website side of things and to provide the web hosting.
Just let me know if I can be of assistance.
Cheers Pete

Hello, Yes, I've read the post on "Pitsel Pitsel" Forum. In my opinion, the Forum appears to be a place created just for the sole purpose of selling wild collected Nepenthes seed. I seriously and sadly doubt that any seed are legally collected and I unfortunately have no legitimate contacts at present, to assure me that any type of rules are in fact being enforced at all, but I'm working on that. Brian.

Brian. I agree it looks like a commercial venture, but my question was specifically aboue is the second clipeata mountain real and confirmed? That would appear to have some impact on status of clipeata. IF it is lets hope it better protected than Mt Kelam!

IF it is lets hope it better protected than Mt Kelam! If you are having to ask on this forum, and nobody other than the pitsel-pitsel forum knows the existence and status of the second site, it is likely that, at present, it is not better protected. Take care, Steven Stewart

This is very interesting. I wish I could help - but I don't have an N. Clipeata. If I ever found seeds, it would be possible for me to grow them, as most of my Nepenthes are grown/growing/are seed, but by the sounds of it any N. Clipeata seed that I would come across would have to have been poached! This is very sad. How are you going locating a female in cultivation?

Has anyone had any success propagating this species? I'm concerned.
