your plants look great. I hope that I can start getting a bog garden going this spring. How old are your taller pitchers in your photos. You have many of the species that I would like to try myself.

Hi Jamesh, The tallest sarras I've grown are about 45" tall and it doesn't really take sarras long to reach their full size. If you receive a division from a fully mature plant, you can expect it to reach full size when it grows for you as well.

Great to see your Sarracenia in bloom. I'm so jealous. Our weather here in Oregon has been truly heinous. I'm just barely seeing flower bud beginning to emerge. We even have a famous tulip farm up here that just had their tulip festival with just one problem; almost no tulips in bloom yet.
Which plants are those pictured?

Nice pictures brokken. What are the other plants?cyclomen?jasmine?chrysanthamum? I really like the last two, the last one especially. I'm only 73 miles away, but my flowers are still emerging, and some are being targeted by some kinda nasty bug at night. It appears that it's the only thing they're eating. I've tried to catch it in the act the last three nights, but no luck. Matt

If your troubles are insect related, you may want to consider a wide spectrum insecticide like imadocloprid or acephate. Good luck!

What a difference! I live about 300 miles north of you on the "mild" Pacific coast and my Sarracenia still think it is winter. We have had cold rains all Spring and a hard frost last night. Only a couple of the Sarracenia in my unheated greenhouse show any sign of flower buds and those outside are still in deep sleep.
