Recently all ICPS members received a CD containing all CPN issues up to that date. To learn more on the part time carnivorous liana please don't hesitat to have a look at this 9 years old article:
G. Bringmann, J. Schlauer, K. Wolf, H. Rischer, U. Buschbom, A. Kreiner, F. Thiele, M. Duschek, L. Aké Assi; Cultivation of Triphyophyllum peltatum (Dioncophyllaceae), the Part-Time Carnivorous Plant; Carniv. Pl. Newslett. 1999, 28, 7-13.

I've recently became interested in this plant. I've read that article and it was cool that the plant becomes carnivorous to achieve a tall flowering style. I would grow this plant if I could. According to others, if pruned the plant will become carnivorous again.

After obtaining one, would you WANT to cut it? Not me.
I don't believe any of us will see it available to the hobbyist in our lifetime.
