As annoying as it can be, is there a way to enable email notification when someone replies to a thread you're involved in?

I am new on the job. This is our first day of operation. So far, I have not found that option. I will keep looking, but if anyone knows the answer, let us know.

This is not really helpful -- but I know that other forums have this feature, so I would suspect that this one does as well.

sundewmatt, everyone is doing the very best they can. I believe it is the goal to make it through the first 6 months. There are going to be burps and hiccups along the way, and the lack of e-mail notification is evidently one of them. Please be patient with those who are trying so hard to please everyone who has subscribed. PL

I have yet to find such a feature. If there is one, I will be happy to activate it. ProBoards supports 1,940,368 Boards. If such a feature exists, I expect that one of these Administrators has found it. I simply do not have time at the moment to go looking. If an interested member finds the option being used on another ProBoard, let me know which Board has it and I will contact that Board's administrator and find out how they do it. The option must exist on a Board supported by www.proboards.com

Found on a support board using ProBoard (Google search: "email notification proboards") sev6.proboards31.com/index.cgi?board=qc&action=display&thread=1171721101"We have e-mail notifications. Simply click the "bookmark" button in the upper left or lower left next to the search button. Then go to your bookmarks (accessible via your profile page) and then select that you want to be e-mailed when a reply to your topic is made." In the "Manage Bookmarks" control panel you can also change your default so that threads when bookmarked will always send notifications via PM or email. The default for all users is "No notification".

Thank you, Not a Number! That is easy. Simply go to your Profile. At the top, there are options: Member's Bio - Modify Profile - Bookmarks Click the Bookmarks, then Click here to manage your bookmarks preferences. Then from the pull-down menu select whether you want your bookmarked threads to send No Notification, Personal Message (PM), or EmailThen you place a bookmark in the thread(s) for which you want notification by clicking bookmark in the thread header (to the right of search). If you are still confused, see www.digital-inflection.com/tutorials/bookmarkingnotification.jpg

Good job Not a Number. I googled "e-mail notification proboards" and came up empty handed.
