Here are a few photos of my flowering Pinguiculas. Hope you enjoy them! Potosiensis on the left and P. 'Sethos' on the right. Originally I postd the 'Sethos' as 'Weser' but it sounds like that name was incorrect. See the notes below. Matt BS

Curious. Here's a close-up - no white streak here! That's the name that was attached to the plant when I bought it - so I never knew thought to check its authenticity.

Don't feel badly. It still is a very nice plant. For some reason, garden centers are selling this plant as 'Weser'. Perhaps they think it is more marketable than P. x (moranensis x ehlersiae). Actually, your plant is closer to P. 'Sethos' than P. 'Weser', but it is probably a commercial tissue culture product of some easily grown hybrid with P. moranensis.

Dear Matt, Dangerousplants, our web nursery, sent out a bunch of these with the wrong names, no matter how many times I fixed the stock, someone changed them around again... Haven't had this issue for a while now, about a year, I hope it stays that way Your plant looks like it is Pinguicula 'Sethos'. This cultivated variety was produced from the same batch of seed as P. 'Weser', when they are not in flower, they are identical. When you logon, you can go back into your old post and change the name. Good growing, Dave Evans Curious.
