Hi !
My name is Rémy (I'm French). I have grown carnivorous plants 10 years in France (from 1996 to 2006) and after a long stop, I will get back to it slowly. I am in Winnipeg (Canada) and since I have a backyard now, I will get back to the Carnivorous Plants.
But this time, I'll try to only start from seeds. And Temperate spices first because it's cold here! USDA Zones: 3a (-40.0° to -37.2°C)
For now, I have: - Pinguicula Corsica f. Pallidula. - Pinguicula Grandiflora f. Grandiflora
And seeds in my fridge for cold stratification : - Sarracenia Purpurea - Sarracenia Flava var. Rubricorpora - Drosera Filiformis
Have a good day

Welcome Remy. I'm new on this forum too. I really enjoy these plants, but have to limit myself to those that can overwinter in a cold garage. (I do use the refrigerator for VFT and now one S. leucophylla.

Thanks.
All the temperate will be ok in a cold New Jersey garage I think (if it's not under -10°C for several consecutive days).

-10C is about 14F and we can get colder than that overnight for a week or so. The absolute coldest night since 1984 has been -29C or -20F. That was very unusual. I've seen a few years with -18C or 0F for a day or so.
