Hi,
My name is James, and I live in coastal Georgia. I have always been interested in carnivorous plants, but like many folks, I was intimidated for many years by all the negative comments I heard about growing them. After doing a good bit of reading and researching this last year, I finally decided to jump in. At the moment, I have mostly plants from Drosera which includes an adelae, a capensis, an intermedia, and a spatulata. I also have a couple of Dionaea. All of the plants are doing well thanks to all the guidance I have received from the people with whom this hobby has brought me into contact. I'm sure the collection will be growing as time goes on, and I have taken a great interest in tissue culture techniques. I might give that a go as well. I am currently looking for a Nepenthes ventricosa, if that would indeed be a hardy plant with which I can "grow" myself.
Regards,
James
