I am very new to owning a Pitcher plant (bought my first one 6 months ago) I love having the plant though. Yet my Pitcher plant has lost all of it's pitchers. I was told never to fertilize my plant yet with all of the pitchers gone I was wondering if I should. My plant has doubled in size since I have gotten it and still has new growth coming on it. Yet I still don't have pitchers and I really don't want my plant to die on me. If anyone can help me on this I would appreciate it. If not thank you for taking the time for reading this Shannon

Conditions? We need to know a lot more before any advice can really be given. Nepenthes utilize nutrients best via pitchers, but can take them through roots as well to some extent; however if the plant has lost all pitchers and hasn't grown them back something else is off in your conditions. What species/hybrid is it? What is the humidity? what kind of lighting? How much and what kind of water is it receiving, and what kind of soil do you have it in? If something is wrong with these conditions giving it fertilizer may just end up worsening the plant rather than giving any sort of benefit.
