im considering a 32" x 32" x 63" grow tent for highland utricularia and nepenthes.
for lighting, should i use a 2' 4 lamp or 2' 8 lamp T5 fixture? or is there an LED light people would recommend?

Hi Ron Popeil - I love your pocket fisherman, and scrambling an egg in right its shell! Welcome to the ICPS forum! It's not all that active here anymore. A ghost of what it was. I am as guilty as others of no longer frequenting this site as it has become a bit desolate. Sounds like a nice grow tent. I love epiphytic utrics! They are definitely worth the effort. I'd say you are on the right track with LED fixtures, especially in a small space as they will produce less heat. The first thing to figure out is whether you want to see your plants in the tent, or whether it is simply a grow space. If it is a grow space the "pink" or "magenta" grow lights work just fine. If you want to see and enjoy your plants in the same space, then go with white LED lights (they will be slightly less energy efficient, but will allow you to enjoy the look of your plants much better. 32 inches is tough. I tend to grow in 48 inch grow racks which fit nicely with shop lights. I've been changing over to these ones from Home Depot (I assume you are in the States, or you'd be using metric). The fixtures are quite bright, and even color my Heliamphora plants nicely. Good luck, and let me know if you have any follow up questions.
