Hi all,
I have a small CP collection on my balcony, mostly in water trays. My lovely cat just loves drinking out of the water trays, even is I leave a fresh water bowl right next to the. The problem – to get to the best water, he tends to push aside my pots, knocking them over. Other than putting up a really high fence, any ideas? Where I live, there are no raccoons, no moose, no deer, just cats!
Thanks in advance for the help

I got 3 big cats here, and i always have to deal with my cats vs my plants. You just find a way to keep your cats away from your plants. Maybe you can build something around your plant setup to keep your lil babies away?

Why a really high fence? Make a wooden frame and cover in plastic netting, the tough type for making fences. Cats can't get through the top. Alternatively put the cat in the cage. ( I know maiden is super sensitive about cats so I modified my response and not once did I mention a trebuchet)

I have a few outdoor bogs. I use cayenne pepper powder. Does not hurt the plants and only iterate the cat or animals sinus. Also growing herbs around CPS helps. No herbs in the bog around.

Thanks for the pepper idea. I thought actually of an executioner, but the cat doubles as my son's pillow, and I'm too cheap to buy a new pillow

At least when the pepper doesn't work you have the plant cage idea
