This fella hitched a ride in a VFT Ive had. Didn't know what the things growing in the moss were so I yanked them but one (luckily) survived...and this is it. I thought it ws just weird moss growth but it was a bladderwort! Any idea what kind?

Yes, it's bisquamata. Unless you want it in every other pot you have too, make sure to get rid of all developing seed pods.

Seconded. Get rid of it before it invades every pot you have. It's a noxious pest of the CP realm.

I have U. bisquamata growing and blooming in several pots that I have purchased from a dealer. I started a pot just of the bisquamata. It's been several months, the plant has filled the pot, but they have never bloomed.
My pot of U. livida recently produced a pretty yellow flower, so I guess I can add subulata to my grow list whether I want it there or not.

Hrm. Maybe I'll dig it up and replant it so I don't have to deal with it in my VFT's pot. I thought they were just some junk growing from the moss so I plucked them when they got her before and tossed them out so I had no idea. This was just one I missed. I guess moving it won't be a huge deal and it's really pretty so I'd like to keep it. I'll just bring it in the house and keep it in the windowsill so it doesn't go all nuts around my outdoor carnivorous plants I guess. I've heard it's an ok one to grow indoors and I won't be all the squashed if it doesn't make it, lol.

If your tropical bisquamata won't be a problem, I have to really look after my small pot of them as they can't take the summers here and die off, somtimes they return in winter in other pots, other years I have lost them and had to order some in.

I'm in Northern California. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my plants right now because it's getting over 100 degrees outside some days now. I'm thinking I might have to bring them in and put them on the window sill for the hottest part of the day when it's going to be that hot.
