The family Araceae is not carnivorous, however, several species block up insects temporary for pollination. One of these is Amorphophallus konjac, which develops a huge - and very stinky - flower. As this interesting plant can meanwhile be found also in many CP-collections, I decided to post this link also to this forum. The video shows the growing of two flowers which emerged recently inside our tropical greenhouse. The second one reached 186cm. Enjoy!
