I have a 3foot tank that I want to cool by 5C (or more is fine) in my last tank I used a fan and fogger and got a slight drop (4-5C),, but I have had a couple peltiers lying around and am thinking of glueing them directly onto the glass at the back or onto a peice of aluminium that runs along the back, I will have a fan and fogger in this tank to, and like my last it will be running off a car battery that is recharged by a solar panel (which has worked on the other tank for over a year now).
I under stand that peltiers are not to brilliant, but I only want to get daytime temps from 30-35C down to 25-30C and nights down by the same (or more), does any one think this will be enough?, otherwise are there any suggestions.
