Visual illusion: See how your plants grow rapidlyMost CP-enthusiasts have some smaller plants in their collection, which grow very slowly. Using the visual illusion of a spinning helix, you are now able to see these plants grow rapidly ! I think this "News and Views" thread fits better to show this effect, than the CP-video thread. It works with everything you like to enlarge . To experience this amazing visual illusion, place your favourite living plant beside your screen. Continue the film and - sitting close to your screen - look into the center of the spinning helix (takes 20 seconds). When the helix ends, look at your plant beside the screen (or without any plant look at the photo following the helix): you'll see everything rapidly growing! To experience the effect, you must view it in fullscreen-mode, HD resolution is recommended. A smartphone-screen may be too small. Be surprised ! WARNING: Don't view this if you tend to get dizzy or to feel sick! Also too much repetition may cause giddiness even for healthy persons.

Tricks like this are just about the only way to demonstrate to the conscious how the subconscious is constantly editing what we see along with the information from our other five senses.
