Alright, my newest flowering plant, and this one is amazing: P. rotundiflora x hemiepiphytica My camera is really bad at picking up the actual colors, the flower has a metallic quality to it, and the color is about 3 shades deeper than seen here, a vibrant magenta/fuchsia color (if anyone wants to see what the color actually looks like, look up the picture of this hybrid in the new Savage Garden). I plan on attempting to cross it with the new P. gigantea flower coming up.

Gorgeous color! That is a beautiful plant! It's cross with P. gigantea would be a very interesting site to see!

P. gigantea produced a new flower, so I am trying to cross it with the rotund x hemi. Here's the happy couple

Just imagine what a cross between the two would be like...

Can't believe I didn't share this shot yet: P. rotundiflora x hemiepiphytica and moranensis x ehlersiae. I attempted crossing the two, but the flowers haven't done anything, so I don't think that particular mix will work.

Glad the P. primuflora "white flower" is doing well, all the other plants look great too!
btw, if that is the sphagnum the P. primuflora came with it is a native Florida sphagnum and should grow super vigorously with minimum dormancy requirements.
