Glorious hybrid... D. madagascariensis x spatulata 'Tamlin' by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr And my favorite related cultivar... D. 'Childhood Wishes' by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr D. 'Childhood Wishes' by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr D. 'Childhood Wishes' by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr D. "sessilifolia" x burmannii "Humpty Doo" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr With a repot and new lights, this cross is also doing better than it ever has before D. tokaiensis x capensis "typical" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr This odd little cross honestly doesn't seem to have any capillaris traits coming through, other than so far it's staying a lot chunkier than pure neo ever did D. capillaris 'Emerald's Envy' x neocaledonica by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr D. spatulata ("Royal Natl. Pk. Sydney" x 'Tamlin') x anglica "Alakai Swamp, HI" by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr

Gloriously red...and a whole lot bigger than the last photo above D. oblanceolata x (ultramafica x spatulata? Hartmeyer) by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr Re-established 'Childhood Wishes' is showing a now much squatter profile, and differing colors depending on the angle D. 'Childhood Wishes' by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr D. 'Childhood Wishes' by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr D. 'Alexandrite Aster' by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr D. 'Alexandrite Aster' by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr This mystery plant sprouted in a pot that was supposed to be D. brevifolia x anglica, but it has such similarities to spatulata-complex plants that I need flowers to confirm. It doesn't look like anything else in the greenhouse though... D. brevifolia x anglica "Alakai Swamp, HI"? by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr D. brevifolia x anglica "Alakai Swamp, HI"? by Hawken Carlton, on Flickr
