"Young Thai botanists open direct line of communications to God (of Neps)"!(No offense intended) ;>) Rob Cantley, Chairman of the IUCN Species Survival Commission's 'Carnivorous Plant Specialist Group' & founder of 'Borneo Exotics', the World's foremost Nepenthes tissue culture lab 'Skypes' in from the ICPS Conference in Cairns, Australia to participate with our students from schools throughout Thailand at the 'Science Camp for Young Thai Botanists' last week at Sirindhorn Science Home in the Thailand Nat'l Science Park. This camp's main foci were; Introduction to Nepenthes' Conservation, tissue culture & analytical chemistry as the kick-off to SEANSRF's new 2-year ' Nepenthes Education Programs in Science' (' NEPS') in cooperation with; HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Princess ICT Program, the Nat'l Science & Technology Development Agency and the Royal Thailand Ministry of Education.
