Fantastic pictures of some very healthy Helis François. I thought I was going to see a new and recently described species when I saw the topic title; Heliamphora diaporama!! Now I realise that 'diaporama' is French for 'Slide show'!! Vic

I thought the same thing Vic, thanks for letting us know the translation.
Francois, I am really jealous mate, you have quite a large varitey of heli's there. I only have four different types so far. Pulchella, tatei, heterodoxa x minor and 'tequilla'.
Heliamphoras were very rare in cultivation when I first started growing CP's about 20 years ago as a kid and were very expensive and difficult to come by.
For this reason they were always high on my want list.
Due to my total lack of experience with them I was unsure how I would go growing them but I am happy to say they love it in my greenhouse.
I will post some pics later this year when they put on a bit more growth in spring.
Dave.

It's neat how "holy grail" plants can become commonplace in just a few short years. You've got two on me, Dave! I've just got H. 'Tequila' and H. heterodoxa x minor.
Can't wait to see how your H. sarracenioides turns out!

I'd have to agree about the "common place" status comment you make Justlikeapill. Our Australian quarantine is necessarily very proactive about preventing pests from entering the country.
But when someone is enthusiastic enough to go through the time and expense of importing new plants then eventually everyone can enjoy them.
I am currently in the process of importing various sarra clones that are not yet available in Australia so that's all very exciting.
Some of them are 'Adrian Slack', Leah Wilkerson red to name one or two.
Dave.

Hi . Sorry, guys! I thought the word "diaporama" was used in english too. That could be a cool Heliamphora name, nonetheless. You are all absolutely right about those species that have become affordable to most growers. That's a good thing if you want my opinion. Some plants are still horrendously expensive, though: the "new" Heliamphora exappendiculata is sold at 100-150 euros, currently! Friendly, François.

Hello ! Just for the pleasure, this my latest heliamphora folliculata pitcher. The nectar spoons gets better and better: Here is my first Heliamphora glabra adult pitcher. The nectar spoon looks ike a swan head, eh? And this is my favourite hybrid: Heliamphora nutans x ionasii: François.

François, A couple of your photo links appear to be incorrect. Weird; I know I saw the glabra picture yesterday and it doesn't LOOK like it got edited unless I was viewing it in a very small window of time.-kby

Weird indeed. They are showing now. Perhaps it was a problem at imageshack.
