Hi RL7836 - Glad if I can help! I'll be interested to hear of your progress on the thread you created. Mine has gotten into a pot of Drosera prolifera and is establishing itself as a happy little weed in that there now.

Just a quick update on my U. mannii. Mine seems to decline, or go dormant after flowering. That's been the case again. But this year the tuber production looks to have been decent. Here is a quick shot of the tuber strings from this species: What's interesting is that they formed, and seem to form best for me underwater. These tubers are growing in a small net pot with long fibered Sphagnum moss. I keep it sitting in water as I do for general CP culture because they seem to like it quite wet. How wet has surprised me compared with other tuber forming utrics (admittedly those other species are in different sections of the genus). But you can see in this shot, that the tubers formed right at the base, and when I found them, they were completely submerged: I admit I raised them when I put the pot back. I know the tubers can survive a little drier than that from prior experience, and I don't know if they'll be rot prone below the surface. There's another little section of tubers below the surface inside the pot, so we'll see... Thanks for looking!
