Good color! I like the yellow contrasts as well... How close to the lights are they? Merry Christmas, Brian.

The plant was colored like that when I got it from David in middle June. I grow it outdoors but unfortunately only afternoon sun is available. It retained that coloring throughout much of the summer, with new leaves turning completely red also within a few weeks. However with the shortening of the daylight hours the plant has reverted to a more typical coloration pattern. David told me he is using an eight tube Sunleaves T5 unit ~14 inches above the plants with an eighteen hour photoperiod. www.sunleaves.com/detail.asp?sku=SPG108

Hi,
Regarding comparing the growth habit of Rob Gardener's VFT, which Henning called "Carolina Giant" and one of its subsequent progeny B-52.
I would defer to Henning on this.
"Carolina Giant" is also a large trapped, very red trapped, very symetrical VFT. I would not grow these two together unlabeled, they would be mixed up. Maybe B-52 growing in top form could be separated out, I don't know.
Henning has been growing these guys together, along with all the other progeny, he could clarify this for you.

Hello, The D. ‘B52’ originally came from a self pollinated plant Henning called the D. “Carolina Giant” from that self pollination Henning got 7 plants the best clone, #A1 was later changed to D. ‘B52’ named after the named after the large bomber. Clone ‘A2’ was the second largest of those 7 original plants. Here are a few photos of my D. 'B52' Thanks -Jeremiah-
