I'm used to seeing some late summer and autumn blooms from my sarracenia. This season so far I've seen flowers from maybe 60% of my mature anthocyanin free plants and maybe 5-10% of everything else. The plants have been grown side by side.
Up to now, the a.f. bloomers:
S. leucophylla S. rubra gulfensis S. jonesii S. rosea luteola S. ((purpurea ssp. pupurea x jonesii) x (leucophylla x rubra ssp. gulfensis)) S. x mitchelliana S. Super Green Giant
I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this this year. It's probably just a fluke, but an interesting one!
