Sarracenia can occasionally become deformed and appear lidless, but I have never heard any reports of Sarracenia which are actually devoid of lids. The closest I cna think of is the small-lidded leucophylla 'Bris,' and I don't know of anyone who would have that.

the plant I am thinking of is not truly lidless but just has a much smaller lid that does not fully cover the opening in the pitcher. if you were to search lidless sarracenia flava on google images you would see what im talking about.

If you send me a sarr, a pair of scissors, and a hundred dollars. I will create a lidless one for you! Aidan: I find they have a striking resemblance to Heliamphora.

" Aidan: I find they have a striking resemblance to Heliamphora." that is why i like them. i can have (some of the) beauty of heliamphora with the hardiness of a sarracenia.
