Harvested seed of a new hybrid a couple days ago, only got 12.... H. parva x sarracenioides After seeing the slow progress (or lack of) from the folliculata seed.... Im trying something different and soaking these in 500ppm solution of Gibberellic Acid (source: United Nuclear) I will also mimic what Crissy did, pure LFS and bagged(1). fingers crossed ref. 1. www.terraforums.com/forums/showthread.php?130113-Heliamphora-GerminationThanks for looking and any advice is appreciated Butch

7.29.12 Pics H. parva x sarracenioides: 10 of 11 seed planted have now germinated H. [tatei var. neblina x hispida] x unknownDozens have sprouted H. parva x folliculata3 sprouts so far No germination yet: H. folliculata x folliculata H. tatei x unknownMost seem to take three weeks to germinate with H. folliculata crosses the slowest so far. H. [tatei var. neblina x hispida] x unknown seed were probably about half the size of all the others. A very small size is evidently no reason to cull a group of seed. (BTW the "fuzzies" are a Trichoderma atrovirde product I like to use) Thanks for looking, Av

Image taken today, 10 of the original 11 survived and are thriving. They seem to be a robust hybrid and color up easily with moderate lighting. Thanks for looking, Av

Great plants! hope they really look nice when they grow, as they do now! Ty Coline, I have high hopes for this hybrid. It's already showing great growth and color characteristics. Cant wait to see what mature pitchers look like.... and since each seedling is unique, maybe a truly special cultivar will show itself as well. woot woot
