Hi all!
If a Dionaea (typical) starts getting its traps red (even the outside part of the lobes) it means it is getting enough light or it is getting burn?
Sorry if is a stupid question, but I'm new with Dionaeas. I've been searching in Internet and Barry's FAQ but just can find information about cultivars.
I know there are some varieties which get completely red, and the Typical gets its traps red, but never seen the 'outside' part red too.
(I know my plant should be dormant, but I got it like a week ago and I only can grow it indoors, so I'm imitating the hours of light in the outside with the fluorescent lighting)
Sorry for my bad english and thanks in advance.

If the outside of the trap turns the same kind of red that the inside is, then the plant is simply getting very good sun. If the red is a crispy, rusty color, then that's sunburn.

Not a stupid question at all. The only stupid question is a question that isnt asked.
Yes I agree with hcarlton. That red coloration is desired in Vfts.

It looks nicely healthy to me. It may or may not be able to get more red. 'Depends on its genetics.
