Green Light Broad Spectrum Mancozeb Fungicide. No worries though, I resurrected a seed chamber I had back then, and a random b. lamellata seed from about 8 months ago decided to sprout

I have some B. linifloria germinating and there is some grey mold growing on one spot on the soil surface. Is Byblis really siseptable to mold, or will reducing the humidity solve the problem?

i would probably excise the mold if it is localized to one area

Will germinating seedlings tolerate a spray of dilute alcohol or hydrogen peroxide?

Don't know. You can try getting the peroxide on a Q-tip and dabbing it on the mold. That way you don't run the risk of killing the plantlets

I am getting lots of seeds from the ICPS including some sarracenia and have ga3,I am going to tissue culture some of the seeds it is just ultra hard to get the media and waste your time then find out that the shipping would be the cost of the order! I emailed a nice teacher of tissue culture that has invited me to go to his lab,I don't know if that means he will briefly show me some things or maybe tissue culture something that is very simple like a potato. The big problem is he is about 2 hours away and don't want to make my mom bring me there because of all the stress she is already under. He has PPM and I can't ship it here because of the horrible shipping cost, the PPM is basically a biocide that makes Tc way easier and gives me a fair chance. I have found a site that sells the media though but no PPM. If this is too of topic I can delete it.

Point of clarification, Genlisea do not need GA3 and neither do Drosophyllum
Back on the topic at hand, if you can find it, once upon a time there was an article written up by a gentleman named Brian Cochran about Byblis gigantea germination. A very very good read.

I didnt say they NEED them, but it does help out a lot. Sure, they'll germinate w/o it, but you'll get better rates (especially with genlisea) with GA3

For byblis liniflora, I just stir them around in bleach for a couple minutes, then I rinse em off and sow em. Last time I did that I got 90% germination within.. 2 weeks (13 days). I recently got some B. filifolia and B. lamellata seeds, but I didn't treat them with anything. I was kind of afraid to. It will probably take a while for them to germinate, but oh well. I can be patient sometimes. Also, you sow your byblis in pure sand? That's the first time I've ever heard that! I use a mix of peat and sand, liniflora doesn't seem to mind it much. I think mine could be slowing slower than normal. (3 months old and about an inch high).

Hey I have the packet of seeds sown on peat perilite, tommorow I am getting my grow light fomr the shipping container so the pot will be under that. I still have a half packet so I may try SilverKiento's idea on the other half, you meant 10% bleach right ?

In my experience, bleach is unnessary. You should just sow Byblis liniflora seeds in a warm, damp, and bright environment, and they should germinate. They often germinate within a few days, although I've known the odd seed germinate after about 8 months. If you plant to grow your plants under a light, I'd be careful. I used to grow B liniflora in terraria directly under lights, and they did not do well. I now grow them in a terrarium with glass between the leigt and the plants, and they grow very well indeed. I'm not sure if it's legal to send seeds from the UK to the US but, if it is, PM me if you can't get your seeds to germinate and I'll send you some. Here's a photo of my setup:
