hey guys..i had to move to sc for a job 2yrs ago..i just brought my sarracenia down from tn and they have loved it here..i recently took a little trip to hardyville sc were i was told flava were...but the sights yeilded nothing...it looked to me like the sarr's had been choked ouit by the many grasses and trees that were drying out the swamps...i going to check out shealy's pond and a spot on ft jackson...hopefully these spots will still have some sarr's growing so i can log them with tons of pics.. does anyone know of any other spots near columbia sc ?? i'll go at least 2hrs out for now..i have a friend also who bought some land jioning the oakee swamp...he said he had tons of sarr's on it...i'll go there in the spring...

Though I don't have any knowledge of the area I am certainly interested in whatever you turn up. What species do you grow?

all species and every hybrid i can get my hands on...i've been growing since the late 80's and the early 90's...i used to go see larry mellinchamp, rob gardner. dave crump (still do), carl tayler (still do), and rob at the abg..i had at one time a few thousand sarr's and a few hundred nep's...but 2 divorce's and the loss of 2 major jobs took its toll...now i think i'm going to bust it wide open again.............i hope...i'll be posting some pics in the near furture i hope...i've not posted here but have been watching since this site began....
