I have two different types of Mexican Pinguicula, and both types are behaving very strangely. One type is P. medusina, and I have 6 separate plants. Five of those are growing right now, with one still as a bud, but the growing ones have leaves that are very small, no more than 2-3 cm long, and have kept that sort of growth for at least 2-4 months now. The last one went dormant back near December and is still dormant now. The P. moctezumae I have has two growth points, with one just barely growing and the other has been growing for a while, but seems to be dying back and I can't tell whether it's going dormant too early or if it is dying. A bit of soil information: most of the P. medusinas are in a peat moss/perlite/vermiculite mix, while the moctezumae and one medusina are in the pots I got them in, with what I believe to be sphagnum moss. If anyone knows what is going on with these plants and whether or not it's anything to worry about, I appreciate your help.

these 2 'in situ' are in a clayed alcalin substrate for medusinae more gypsum
I use for medusinae just gypsum+ river sand 50/50
medusinae is dormant with a onion ,it must remain very dry during this dormance.
moctezumae love clayed alcaline substrate , all the time wet (even in dormancy).
