I took these photos last August, and have been meaning to post them for a while. Sutton Park is an urban park in Birmingham (UK). I have been aware that there are CPs present for a while, but have never gone to look for them. Late last summer, I went on a family outing there with my fiance and baby son. I managed to nip off briefly to search for CPs, and was delighted to find Utricularia in huge numbers and also Pinguicula vulgaris. They are not great photos, but were taken in a hurry. In the next few weeks, I plan to go on my own to search properly. I understand that D rotundifolia is also present, and I want to find it. An aquatic Utricularia. I think it is U vulgaris, but I am happy to stand corrected if anyone knows otherwise. There were masses of these in the shallow water on the fringes of a couple of the lakes in the park. P vulgaris. I found these in a damp marshy area near one of the pools. The substrate was acidic, as there was a lot of sphagnum present. I know that these are nothing special, but I like the idea of CPs growing wild within the confines of the UK's largest conurbation outside of London. I hope to post more photos once I've been on my own to search properly. Greg

I like pics - especially the Utricularia. I'm looking forward to seeing whatever else you find. This may inspire me to do some local searching of my own.
