Hi, I'm curious about this species. I know there's been a lot of confusion about it but I wonder if any body grows the real thing. From The pics I've of it, it's a beautiful plant but people have been saying not to buy plants labeled "thorelii" because it's usually fake. I've seen countless Ebay auctions of plants named thorelii are they all fakes  Could someone clear this up for me.

Fake thorelii are still real plants. Most species now have names, and the confusion is mostly put to rest.
Mislabeled plants in hundreds of collections though... So we are sure to continue to see the occasional "thorelii" which is really something else.
The only real N. thorelii are/were available as seed.

Ohhhh! So there are just different species mislabeled as thorelii. Thanks I was confused.
