Hello, I am wondering if there are any "easier" heliamphora so to speak. I already have a small H.minor and it is thriving alongside my highland neps and is starting to produce adult pitchers. I want to grow more helis but i dont know which species are easier to to grow.

I am no expert on Heli's, but i believe H.Nutans is also a tolerant species. The hybrids would also be a good way to go, if you cannot guarantee cool conditions.

Hello, I would recommend one of the hybrids, either H. heterodoxa X minor or H. heterodoxa X nutans. These plants are very tolerant and forgiving... and are the best "learner" plants, IMO. Plus, they usually don't cost an arm and a leg... Happy Growing, Brian

I know that H. pulchella use to be thought of as an H. minor. Perhaps they have similar growing conditions? Though, it can be harder to find for sale...

IN fact, heterodoxa - gran sabana is also good one..
