Hi all. Here are another two sites visited in Mexico. This time in 2412 m and 2705 m a. s. l. in mountain pass near to Santa Maria Yucuhiti and Santiago Nyuoó. We found on both sites nice plants of Pinguicula conzatii, but there were not many plants. Maybe it would be possible to find another colonies of that species in inaccessible parts of mountain area. View on part of mountain pass Santa Maria Yucuhiti/Santiago Nuyoó... Area is very wet with high humidity, relatively cold, clouds pass through... First side on steep calcareous mountain wall, wet parts are covered by moss and P. conzatii plants grow on it... Plants were too high to come closer to them... Plant in flower... Second site was 300 m higher, near to small village in wet and shady ravine, which citizens use as a garbage dump (!!!) Even smaller site as the first was... Surrounding of site - you can see, that humidity have to be really very high for long period of the year... Shape of rosettes and leaves is interesting.... Plant with two flower buds... Light green rosettes, white flower, shady place - really mysterious plant.... ;D Sideways view on P. conzatii flower, tube and spur - look, all covered by hairs.... P. conzatii white flower with light violet edge around... it is really beautiful, isn´t it!
