Looking For Permanent ID Labler

Hullo Fellow CPers-

I've been using those thin aluminum plant ID plates with a sharpie permanent ink. But after 4 months, most of the writing has faded away and I hate it when I can't figure what sarracenia I'm looking at in the winter (cause I've gone and mowed down everything)

What have you folks used to keep a more permanent ID on your plants.

Brother labelling machines that use "TZ" type label tape.

The machines are quite expensive to keep fed with TZ tape cartridges, but the printed labels are genuinely permanent.
