Joe, Nice pitchers, Where are you located? What are the conditions you are growing this plant under? Sun, humidity, soil etc. thanks David

great plants I cant wait to get the room for that kind of stuff. my biggrst plant is 5 foot tall and its only an alata.

Wow, that is one beautiful collection of plants. Raff's are one of my favorite species anyway, and the winged tendrils just gives them that extra touch. Thanks for posting the photos.

I stay at Bangkok humidity about 65 - 80 % temperature about 80 -90 F I just grow with lowland moss same as they grow in the wild and put all out door with [/img]20 -30 % shade

Joe, Thank you for the information. Do you know where I can buy this type of Nepenthes rafflesiana var. alata? I live in the United States and have never seen this type of winged variety. Thanks David

Don't mean to butt in but there found at the cpjungle there a little pricey. but I dont know what your expenses are.

Thanks ieatflys, I looked all through the cpjungle catalog and never found this plant. Am I looking in the incorrect place. I pretty much went threw every nepenthes I could find without finding any rafflesiana var alata. Maybe you can steer me in the correct direction. thanks David

Hi Noplay N. rafflesiana var alata it difficult to get nice ribbon tendril I have chance go in Indonesia quite often I choose from many nursery more than 1000 plants to get nice , a few year ago . of course I not have only rafflesiana alata ;D I grow from seed it nice ribbon tendril from male and female plants . If seem like useless to get only 20-30 plants look like nice tendrils from 10000 plants I condiser very rare but it not my plants anymore

Fantastic collection!!!! I really love them all! So you grew most of these from seed? That's awsome.. those ones with the white on them are really cool!

Yes, that would be considered alata. The winged tendril is the key characteristic.
