Hello there. I purchased this plant in Japan (specifically Okinawa). The shape of the flowers makes me think it is carnivorous (they are pouch-like) I'm having a hard time trying to identify it. Can anyone tell me what it is so that I may find info to better care for it? Thanks!

It's a Calceolaria species. A common houseplant in Europe and consequently there are many cultivars next to the several species so don't ask me what kind . I believe the English name is Lady's purse. The wild species range from Chili to Mexico.
