Any chance the dollar amount in the fund could be shared as it grows? That sure would be a good idea, if it can be implemented. Without some kind of feedback, contributors may have no way of knowing how much their own and others' contributions are helping and how well, or how badly, things may be going with regard to Society finances, pushing toward or meeting ICPS goals, etc.
As an additional comment, the ICPS membership payment website-- icps.clubexpress.com/content.aspx?page_id=203&club_id=203829&log_id=5693418 --works great. I'll bet that more people will become paying members than in the past as a result of the ease of online payment instead of using snail-mail.

We have the capability to show a goal and progress toward that goal. Two issues, though, are that the conservation goal is open ended. The more members give, the more grants we can give. And as far as Internet presence, we will set a goal when we get a better idea of what this site will cost. I will make it visible on the donation page when we get a few donations. So far there have effectively been 2 donations to the conservation fund and one to the Internet fund on the web site.
The numbers there will also be somewhat misleading. We get a sizable number of donations with seed bank orders. In the past we also got a lot with member renewals. I don't know how all this will be affected by the on-line donation page.
