Well, I've been growing a genlisea in the same pot for 2 and a half years (It is probably G. lobata x violacea, but I could be wrong, as it has never flowered), and I want to change the soil. However, I am really worried that I'll bruise/damage the delicate traps and cause the plant to rot from the bottom up! So, I'm wondering if anyone has a good method for repotting these plants. (Yes, my variety is relatively cheap and easy to find, but it was one of my first successful plants, so I don't want to loose it!)

I have never had a problem dividing or repotting Genlisea lobata, hispidula, or violacea. I just separate the plants and stick them in new pots. For me, they seem to be quite resilient.
