my first own thread in that section! I am happy to show you some pictures of D. trinervia we found in Southafrica the last two weeks. This will be the start of a series of pictures i will show from the plants we found there.
Drosera trinervia is most likely the most common sundew in southafrica. It grows almost everywhere, where some water is present. I am not sure if all the locations really drie out during summer. I suppose some of them stay wet all year long. We only had one day out of 14 free of D. trinervia (on that day we made a boat trip to the white sharks, so no Drosera at all!). Even at a visit in a Lion Park we could find some of them on the grass between the cages. Drosera trinervia is so common, that i did not even bother to take pictures of them at the end of the trip, so i can't show pictures from every location we have seen them.
Some of the pictures have been taken under harsh conditions (no sunshine, rain, fog, wind and coldness), so they are not always the best pictures. I hope you like them anyway.
yes, wou will get the chance to see some D. regia later I am still sorting out my pictures and will surely show any species we found (should be almost all of the western cape except for D. ramentacea and some D. cistiflora-Forms).
