Will this light setup work well?

Well as I have now owned my first set of CPs for over 24 hours now, I now know that I had to replace the light fixture I currently have. I have an incandesant bulb that gives off a lot of heat. I know it's bad so I am ready to replace.

Will a 10,000k flourescent bulb with a new fixture be better? I think it will be but how much better? How much better will it be for the plants (2 drosera and a ping. )

Sorry if it's a dumb question.

If out of the box isn't an improvement you're completely sunk,
which I'm sure you're not.
